the founder and serves as the managing director of Brian T. Dooley &
Associates a professional Mergers and Acquisitions firm based in Howard Beach,
New York. The company specializes in the security industry helping companies
grow through acquisitions and exit strategies. Personal assistance is also
provided to the owner of a company who is looking to leave the security
industry whether to retire and enjoy the fruits of their labors or to invest
into another industry.
Mr. Dooley’s experience and knowledge were built from the ground up in the security industry spending the past thirty years ascending the organizational ladder beginning as a security officer. Since Mr. Dooley has hands on knowledge of operational and management issues within the security field this gives Brian T. Dooley & Associates a distinct advantage over other firms. He thoroughly understands all aspects of the revenue to expense ratio inside the industry and how a company can profit from synergies when acquiring another company. He mastered the concept of raising the Earning Before Income Taxes (EBIT) by cutting unnecessary costs prior to bringing a company to market, giving the seller the greatest return on their life’s investment.
Mr. Dooley is a graduate of the Security Management Program at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.
Mr. Dooley spends a vast amount of free time as the Chairmen of student membership for ASIS International’s New York City chapter. He attends different secondary institutions in the Metro New York area speaking to the security management majors about the industry and how ASIS can assist them when they enter the work force. He is also a liaison with many local security companies who are willing to give the security management students internships to familiarize themselves with the security industry prior to their graduation.
